Service Description

Meets the needs of patients, families, and staff by providing a variety of cultural/spiritual and supportive services. A chaplain is a spiritual care professional who is a member of your healthcare team.

Spiritual and cultural caregivers:

  • Listen to your fears, concerns, and needs
  • Respond to the spiritual and emotional needs of patients
  • Link you with your own religious or spiritual community.

Call a chaplain when you:

  • Have important treatment decisions to think about
  • Have been given life changing news
  • Have a religious or spiritual need
  • Need assistance with stress and fear
  • Have questions about death and dying.
