Service Description

Provides support to individuals of all ages, who need help with communication or swallowing.

  • Acute Care
    • Provides assessment and treatment services for clients aged 14 and older with communication and swallowing difficulties
  • Adult Services (Wascana Rehabilitation Centre)
    • Inpatient Services – provides testing and treatment services to adults with neurological disorders ina multi-disiplinary setting.
    • Outpatient Services – provides adult outpatient testing and treatment services to clients with speech, language, voice, cognitive and swallowing concerns.
    • Long Term Care – provides specialized services for people with swallowing disorders.
  • Pediatric Services (18 years and youger)
    • Helps develop communication skills and assist with listening and understanding, vocabulary development, language and speech sounds

Eligibility

Individuals up to 18 years of age with communication and swallowing difficulties.
