Service Description
- Palliative Home Care / Care Coordinators
- meets with people at home, in hospital or at Regina Wascana Grace Hospice. Assesses needs, explains services, makes a plan of care with the client.
- Provides management of pain and symptoms, ongoing assessment, personal care, a contact between client and doctor, and support to clients and families in their own home.
- Palliative Care Unit
- Nine bed unit located at the Pasqua Hospital. Provides short-term care, symptom management, plans for discharge or end-of-life care.
- Regina Wascana Grace Hospice
- Provides end-of-life care to clients who do not need hospitalization and can no longer be cared for at home. Also provides support to client and family members.

- Music Therapy
- Bereavement Care – open to those who have experienced a recent death loss.
- Resource Centre
- Education – educational programming in the community for both medical and non-medical care givers through workshops, conferences and presentations.
Eligibility
Admission to palliative care is based upon: clinical need related to symptoms, crisis respite, physician referral, and space availability.
