Service Description

Social workers, as members of a multidisciplinary team for the Saskatoon Health Region: 

  • Focus on the social and emotional well-being of the patient/client and their families
  • Assist patients/clients and families through psycho-social counselling and practical instrumental resources during a developmental and/or health related event
  • Strengthen psychosocial functioning and support systems
  • Provide psycho-social consultation and training to other health care professionals, students and related community agencies.
