Service Description
Develops a plan to meet the needs of patients of any age, clients and their families who are having problems with doing the activities that are important to them to. Also works on preventing injuries and helping individuals maintain their health and their ability to carry out the activities they require for daily living. This may be because of changes in their abilities resulting from an illness, an accident, a developmental problem, or the aging process.
Occupational therapists work in Acute Care, Home Care, Outpatient Care, and Long Term Care areas.
Eligibility
People of any age who are having problems with doing the actvities that are important to them due to changes in their ailities from an illness, an accident, a developmental problem, or the aging process.
