Service Description

Child protection services are available from the Ministry of Social Services for children who are believed to be in need of protection. Visit website for information on:

  1. What is child abuse and neglect?
  2. How can I stop child abuse and neglect (as a parent or as a member of the community)
  3. Reporting abuse, neglect, interpersonal violence.

Note, anyone who has a reason to believe that a child is being abused or neglected has a legal duty to report it. For all incidents or concerns after hours, immediately contact your nearest Crisis Centre:

  • Regina: 306-569-2724
  • Local Police/RCMP in other communities
  • Local First Nations Child and Family Services Agency.
