Service Description
Provides public health supports for preschool children/families, including;
- Immunization and health screening of children (clinics throughout the region)
- Health information and support
- Fluoride varnish (clinics throughout the region).
Provides public health supports for school-age children, including:
- Immunization as recommended by the Ministry of Health
- Health education
- Screening and/or referrals for communicable diseases and other health concerns
- Support to staff to build healthy schools
- Support healthy nutrition in schools
- Dental sealants offered in Grade 1 and 7 to schools identified through provincial dental screening.
