Service Description

An exercise and education program for individuals who have chronic illnesses.

Offers the following services at the Alfred Jenkins Field House in Prince Albert:

  • Cardiac Rehabilitation
    • For individuals experiencing angina, heart attack, bypass surgery, angioplasty, stent procedures, valve surgery or pacemakers
    • Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00 – 9:00 am
  • Pulmonary Rehabilitation
    • For individuals with asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), sarcoidosis, cystic fibrosis or lung transplant.
    • Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (one hour sessions)
  • Risk Management
    • For individuals with high blood pressure, diabetes or high cholesterol.
    • Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (90 minute sessions).

Some outreach services are also available in Big River and Spiritwood – contact for details.
