Service Description
Public health nurses provide basic health services to all preschool children to prevent disease and to identify health problems early. Each appointment is 45 minutes long and children receive:
- Developmental screening
- Hearing screening
- Immunization
- Nutrition assessment
- Physical assessment
- Speech and Language
- Referral to Optometrist
- Oral health assessment
- Health education.
Eligibility
Preschool children.
