Service Description

Provides an outpatient clinic for people who have signs and symptoms of a recent stroke or Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA).

  • Purpose: investigate the cause(s) of the stroke/TIA and assist with strategies to prevent reoccurrence of these symptoms.
  • Operated by telehealth.

Eligibility

Individuals who have signs and symptoms of a recent stroke or Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA).

Application Process

Referral required by an Emergency Department doctor, your family doctor or another medical specialist. Your family doctor is kept informed of your progress and the treatment plans. If the signs and symptoms get worse from the time of your referral to the Clinic, call 9-1-1.
