Service Description
One-time emergency financial assistance to help cover prescription drugs
Eligibility
Saskatchewan residents unable to afford cost for covered prescription drugs
Application Process
Regular office hours pharmacy call the Ministry of Health Drug Plan and Extended Benefits Branch, for up to one month supply
Outside regular office hours pharmacy may provide up to four-day supply of covered drug
Documents Required
At pharmacy provide health card, pharmacy name and number, name and cost of drug(s), reason for the request including evidence that other sources assistance have been explored and are not available
