Recreational Water – Healthy Beach Program

Service Description

Ensures safe water quality levels at monitored recreational beaches.

  • Public health inspectors respond to water quality issues, such as blue green algae (algal blooms) and elevated bacteria levels to ensure risks are addressed as quickly as possible.
  • Weekly reporting of recreational water results are posted weekly between June and September.

Contact your local public health inspector to report a health or safety concern at a public beach.
