Service Description
Works with individuals of all ages who need help with communication or swallowing. Patients may need help because of an illness or accident, a developmental problem, or the aging process.
Services include:
- Adults – assists individuals with any communication disorders or swallowing dysfunction that occurs with certain injuries or illnesses
- Pediatrics – assists pre-school aged children with voice problems, fluency problems, and in the age-appropriate development of speech-language-communication skills. Also, provides children with limited or no verbal communication skills with the correct alternative or augmentative communication strategies.
Eligibility
Individuals of all ages who need help with communication or swallowing.
