Service Description

A provincial income support program for adults with significant and enduring disabilities living in Saskatchewan

Benefits include:

  • monthly living income support
  • disability-related income support
  • additional benefits based on individual needs such as exceptional needs and shelter support

Eligibility

  • adults age 18 and older
  • residents of Saskatchewan
  • individuals with limited financial resources
  • individuals with a significant and enduring disability that substantially impacts daily living

Application Process

Apply online, by phone, or in person through Social Services

To apply online, use Google Chrome or Safari:
- sign in or register to create a Saskatchewan Account - Applicants must have an active email address to apply online.
- allow 25 minutes or more to answer all the questions and attach documents that verify individual information, such as pay stubs and rental agreements.

Note: The online application can be accessed anytime during the day and can be saved to return later - Completed application must be submitted within 15 days of starting it or it will expire and a new application will be required. After application is finished, it is important to sign out of your Saskatchewan account, clear the history/cookies, and close the browser to protect your identity.

To apply by phone, call 1-888-567-7243(SAID) or TTY 1-866-995-0099 from Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

To apply in person, visit your nearest social services office from Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm (noon) or 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
