Service Description
A drop-in, first-come, first-serve shelter facility to aide those in need of temporary shelter with a 106 bed capacity. Individuals are assessed on a case by case basis. Belongings are stored safely. Peacekeepers are on-site 24-7. Drugs and alcohol cannot be consumed inside the Wellness Centre or on the property. Includes the following services:
- Three meals per day and snacks with fridges and microwaves,
- Free laundry services,
- Smudging Room,
- Knowledge Keepers and Elders available,
- Mental health and addictions counselling available using the medicine wheel as the framework,
- Life-skills opportunities will be integrated into the housing plan.
Eligibility
Everyone welcome. Drop-in, first-come, first-served facility.
