Service Description
Provides opportunities for all First Nations youth to participate in the Saskatchewan Indian Winter and Summer Games, as well as encouraging healthy lifestyles through sport and recreation. Some activities include:
- Coaching and skills clinics,
- Planning sports and recreation activities within the Tribal Council,
- Promoting athlete involvement in the provincial games and playoffs,
- Identifying sports and recreation needs in each community to develop programs.
Eligibility
Members of the File Hills Qu'Appelle Tribal Council including Carry the Kettle Nakota Nation, Little Black Bear's Band of Cree and Assiniboine Nations, Muscowpetung Saulteaux Nation, Peepeekisis Cree Nation, Standing Buffalo Dakota Nation, Star Blanket Cree Nation, Nekaneet, Okanese, Pasqua, Piapot, and Wood Mountain Lakota First Nations.
