Service Description

Includes Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Home Health Aides who provide home health services. Nursing staff complete assessments with the client and/or family to determine care needs and provide referrals to other professionals. Home and Community Care team attends monthly wellness clinics alongside the Diabetes team and conducts annual flu clinics. Nurses offer foot care clinics to residents of Lakeview Lodge Personal Care Home and Home Care clients. Nurses provide wound care to clients of Pasikow Muskwa Rising Bear Healing Centre. Home Health Aides provide supportive home visits to clients which includes personal care in the client’s home, at the community health clinic, or at All Nations Healing Hospital.

Members of the File Hills Qu'Appelle Tribal Council including Carry the Kettle Nakota Nation, Little Black Bear's Band of Cree and Assiniboine Nations, Muscowpetung Saulteaux Nation, Peepeekisis Cree Nation, Standing Buffalo Dakota Nation, Star Blanket Cree Nation, Nekaneet, Okanese, Pasqua, Piapot, and Wood Mountain Lakota First Nations.
