Service Description

Provides a monthly taxable benefit to retired contributors, receive full CPP retirement pension at age 65 or receive it as early as age 60 with a reduction, or as late as age 70 with an increase.

Eligibility

Older adults 60 years of age or older, and the person has worked and has made at least one valid contribution to the Canada Pension Plan.

Application Process

Use the online Canada Pension Plan Retirement Pension application or print and complete an application form and return it to your nearest Service Canada Centre. Also, call one of the Service Delivery Agents and they will send you an application kit.
