Service Description
Provides text for d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals to read in classroom settings, meetings, workshops, and other similar environments where computerized note-taking services may be required.
CNS staff will not counsel, advise or interject their personal opinions and must remain neutral. The interpretation or translation shall be faithful to the message of the source language.

Application Process
Call or email to book a Computerized Note Taker. Two weeks notice is ideal, but they will try to accommodate with less notice. Provide the following information: date, time and duration, location address, nature of the assignment.
Fees
$60 per hour during business hours (Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm) with a 1.5 hour minimum charge. $70 per hour during after business hours, holidays, and weekends with a 2 hour minimum charge. Mileage is $0.42 per km and travel time is compensated the same as our hourly rates. The is a 24 hour notice of cancellation policy.
