Service Description
A 24-hour safe shelter in Fort Qu’Appelle for women and their children escaping domestic violence or other crisis situations. Provides client-centered programming that integrates First Nations healing approaches, counselling, outreach, and domestic abuse awareness and prevention services.
Services include:
- temporary emergency shelter and safety planning
- individual, group, and crisis counselling
- advocacy and referrals to community resources and legal supports
- parenting and children’s programming
- outreach and follow-up services for women transitioning from shelter
