Service Description

Services for trans, two-spirit, and gender diverse residents of Saskatchewan, provides information on

  • gender-affirming surgery, hormone therapy
  • additional support (Trans Health Navigators), Healthline 8-1-1

Eligibility

Saskatchewan residents seeking gender-affirming treatments or surgery

Application Process

Discuss with primary health care provider, call for information

Documents Required

Saskatchewan health card required for both treatments and surgeries
Referral to specialist required for surgery, contact for details

Fees

Hormone Therapy
Coverage of eligible hormone replacement therapy listed on the Saskatchewan Formulary or approved under Exception Drug Status, call the Ministry of Health's Drug Plan and Extended Benefits Branch for details
