Service Description

Provides resources and services to help new immigrants get settled in a new city and home, including:

  • Programs for children that are fun, help them learn to read, learn math, make things and connect them together with other children.
  • Conversation Circle for adults to practice English face to face with a volunteer tutor and learn about topics of choice such as – day to day life in Canada, finding a job, current events, how to talk with coworkers or neighbours, etc.
  • Books in English and many other languages, online Mango language learning, and free access to newspapers from around the world.
