Service Description
Provides free basic English classes for adult learners who need classes at a Canadian Language Benchmark level 1 to 8.
NOTE: Free parking is available for all LINC classes at all locations. Free childminding services may be available for classes – contact for details.
Eligibility
Newcomers 18 years of age or older who: - Are 18 years of age or older; - Are either a Permanent Resident of Canada, Protected Person or a Convention Refugee who has been selected by Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC); and - Have a current language assessment which supports referral to the classes being offered.
Application Process
Before registering, ALL participants require a Language Benchmark Test, provided by the Language Assessment and Referral Centre (LARC). Next, complete the LINC Student Application.
