View information about this organization

Service Description

Provides access to health services using communication and information technology to support the delivery of clinical care and professional education services, enabling a remote patient to ‘visit’ an out-of-town health-care provider from their home community rather than having to travel.

Application Process

Individual must request a referral to a Telehealth specialist by a medical doctor. The medical doctor makes a request to the specialist for a Telehealth consult. The specialist’s office arranges the date and time and the individual is notified by letter.
