Service Description
Provides second-level support to Saskatoon Tribal Council Member First Nations based upon their needs and priorities. Programming includes prevention, awareness, and education. Follows a Restorative Justice model by receiving alternative measures (adult) and extrajudicial sanctions (youth) referrals from the Crown/RCMP for either post charge or pre-charge.
Eligibility
Members of the Saskatoon Tribal Council including Kinistin Saulteaux, Mistawasis Nêhiyawak, Muskeg Lake, Muskoday, One Arrow, Whitecap Dakota, and Yellow Quill First Nations. Accepts referrals for first or second time offenders for low level charges. Youth and adults are referred by RCMP for pre-charge or by Crown Prosecutor's post-charge diversion.
