Service Description
Offers financial assistance to help homeowners with low incomes to complete emergency repairs to make their homes safe.
Eligibility
Homeowners are eligible when they: - own the property to be repaired and occupy it as their primary residence; - require an urgent repair to their property (e.g. replacing a furnace during the winter months); and - have an annual household income and household assets at or below the limits established by Saskatchewan Housing Corporation. Note: - Repairs completed before receiving written approval from Saskatchewan Housing Corporation do not qualify for assistance. - The homeowner is responsible for all costs greater than the approved amount. - Once approval is granted, work must be completed within three months.

Download and complete the Emergency Repair Program Application Form Emergency Repair Program Application Form. Mail the application form and required documents to:

Application must be provided along with:
Property Tax Notice
Lease Agreement (if you have a roommate or a boarder)
Asset declaration form
Proof of household income
- Last year's Income Tax Return (Everyone in the household, including children 18+. Full-time students must send proof that tuition has been paid to the university, college, school, or trade school.)
- Income Tax Notice of Assessment (Every working member in the household)
- Business, Rental, or Farming Income (Copies of most recent Income and Expense Statements)
- Disability or Veteran Affairs Pension (Most recent pay stub and letter of confirmation)
- Child and Spousal Support Payments (Copy of the separation or divorce agreement)
