Service Description

***Proof of double vaccination is required to enter and participate in any programming.

Assists EAL students with their homework, classroom assignments, and preparing for tests. Offers individual support, assists with each child’s unique needs, and introduces activities aimed at improving written and verbal English communication skills.

Eligibility

Newcomers to Canada.

Application Process

Those interested must be elementary-aged Permanent Residents referred to the program by their school teachers.

Documents Required

In order to become a client of global Gathering Place, potential clients must bring with them their immigration documents. These include Permanent Resident Card or proof of Permanent Residency, and a passport.
