Entrepreneurial Development

Offers support for Francophone small and medium-sized businesses and individuals who want to start or expand their business:

• Support for Business – assists Francophones and Francophiles in the province with their business start-up and expansion efforts: networking activities for entrepreneurs, assistance in fundraising, business or marketing plan preparation, business Management, information on administrative formalities, market research, microloans.

• Cooperatives – supports the start-up of a cooperative or optimization of operations of an existing cooperative: design of a business plan, development of member recruitment strategies, administrative paperwork, training, feasibility studies, financial research, support in the administrative and financial management of a cooperative.

• Marketplace (supply / demand) – aims to increase supply and demand for local businesses by supporting Francophone producers and sellers.

• Été-Biz (Young Student Entrepreneur Summer Program) – supports young people between the ages of 14 and 25 to start a business during the summer by offering scholarships, workshop and advisory services.
