Service Description

Delivers labour market activities to eligible First Nation individuals of the Saskatoon Tribal Council (STC) Member First Nations. Programs include: 

  • Pre-Employment Support – Short term training, life skills, and job skills for individuals on reserve receiving social assistance.
  • Reintegration – Work readiness, skill enhancement, and access to community resources for individuals transitioning from a correction facility to the community.
  • Urban Navigator – Work readiness, skill enhancement, and access to community resources for individuals transitioning from rural to urban life.
  • Indigenous Skills & Employment Training – Certificates, diplomas, job start, and wage subsidy for unemployed, underemployed, and under skilled individuals.

Eligibility

First Nation members of the Saskatoon Tribal Council including Kinistin Saulteaux, Mistawasis Nêhiyawak, Muskeg Lake, Muskoday, One Arrow, Whitecap Dakota, and Yellow Quill First Nations. Programs are delivered on reserve to the STC Member First Nations and off-reserve for First Nations residents of Saskatoon.
