Service Description
Parent Central (an online portal focused on connecting parents and families or caregivers of children aged 0-6 to supports, services, programs and information) includes a specialized child care search with multiple filters, current child care availability, and easier connection between child care seekers and child care providers.
- To create an account, select “Parent/Guardian sign in” on the child care search page.
- When you are signed in, you can search/track child care availability and alert child cares that you are interested in their service.
- Selecting the “waitlist” button adds the child care to your account (similar to a wishlist in online shopping) and informs the child care via email so they may contact you to discuss space availability.
- Sign in at any time in the future to update your needs, search again, and add/remove child cares from your list.
Application Process
Select "Parent/Guardian sign in" on the Child Care search page to create an account and access it in the future.
