Service Description
A 12-week employment and English learning program for newcomers. Designed to gain knowledge of the Canadian work environment and to connect to the labour market in Saskatchewan. Topics include:
- Digital literacy training
- Resume and cover letter building
- Interview skills
- Job searching
- Communication
- Canadian work culture.
Two separate in-person classes are offered – Tuesday/Thursday mornings and Tuesday/Thursday evenings.
Eligibility
Must be: - a Newcomer (PR, Temporary Resident, Work Permit, or Canadian Citizen); - 18+ years old; - Legally eligible to work in Canada; and - CLB 5 to 8.
