Service Description
A summer program for newcomer youth which integrates sports and recreation, arts and crafts, culture and history, health, volunteerism, leadership, career exploration, and English language enhancement. Participants make new friends, learn more about life in Canada and what Saskatoon has to offer, build self-confidence, enhance English language skills, and have fun.
- The program is delivered in three age groups: 6-8, 9-13, and 14-18.
- Lunch meals are not provided.
- A bus pass is provided to participants at no cost.
Eligibility
Immigrant and refugee youth between the ages of 6 to 18. Applicants must be a Permanent Resident, Protected Person, or Convention Refugee.
