Service Description

Provides 24-hour crisis support to victims of crime and tragic events including ongoing support through the justice system and referrals to other community agencies. Services include:

  • Listening
  • Police case information for victims
  • Court information and accompaniment
  • Coordination/provision of information regarding Victim Compensation, Restitution and the Criminal Justice System
  • Crime Prevention advice
  • Referral to community resources and other police agencies
  • Home/office visits for support (when resources are available).

Eligibility

Persons who have suffered physical, mental, or emotional injury. Persons who have suffered an economic loss due to criminal action.
