Service Description
A 14-week reunification program that focuses on reuniting families separated by imbalance in lifestyles, culture and identity. Program consists of:
- Four day healing camp
- Three days of classroom instruction per week
- Ceremonies throughout the 14 weeks
- One family day per month (parents and children)
- One case management per month
- Working closely with the Ministry of Social Services and other community organizations.
Activities and topics include sacred fire, smudging, sweat lodge, cultural activities, Seven Sacred Teachings, healing ceremonies, cultural protocol, picking medicine, addictions, parenting and more.
Program works in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Services.
Eligibility
Families who have been separated by Ministry of Social Services.
