Organization Description
Assists the Indigenous community by offering programs and services to help them reconnect with their traditional, cultural heritage, while preparing them to become self-sufficient. Offers:
- Personal counselling
- Life skills training
- Referrals
- Agency Liaison
- Cultural awareness through traditional teachings and activities
- Targeted support programs for men, women and families, particularly those families who have children in the care of Social Services
- Access to Elders, ceremonies, traditional teachings and crafts
- Offers culturally based settlement services to assist participants who move in from surrounding reserves get settled in the community.
