Service Description

Program that provides youth, who are on the extreme end of being disengaged with the community, with an opportunity to come together once a week to have fun, learn and share. Offers a “safe space” for youth to engage in a broad range of activities, conversations and extra-curricular activities.

The overall goal of the project is to raise the general health and wellness of youth to a higher level. One objective is to engage and educate youth on essential health topics such as sexual education, tobacco cessation, healthy relationships, proper nutrition and diet for themselves and their families, special topics affecting aboriginal people, disease prevention, addiction issues and mental health.

Provided in partnership with community agencies such as the Greater Catholic Schools of Saskatoon and BGC of Saskatoon. Funded by the Saskatoon Community Foundation – Cameco Fund for Mental Health Saskatchewan.
