Service Description
Offers permanent residents and refugees, who are unable to attend regular English language classes, opportunities for independent study with the support of an instructor.
Eligibility
▸ Newcomers aged 18 years and older ▸ CLB level 1-8: new students need to provide a current (less than 2 years old) Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) assessment or take a CLB test at the Suncrest College ▸Learners will need 5-7 hours per week for independent study, participate in a weekly telephone call with an instructor, and have access to a computer with high-speed internet.
