Service Description
Helps newcomers take responsible, informed, and proactive steps toward their successful settlements.
- Assists newcomers in taking responsible, informed and proactive steps toward their successful settlements
- Provides a more in-depth discussion on settlement needs and when settlement planning is required
- Meets the immediate, intermediate and long-term needs of newcomers
- Facilitates the adaptation and integration of newcomers to their new community
- Provides a comfortable, safe environment
- Assists newcomers in finding and accessing support that meets their needs
- Provides complete, accurate and up to date information
- Encourages newcomers to participate in community activities.
Eligibility
Newcomers to Canada, 18 years of age or older who have been in Saskatchewan 5 years or less and are eligible to work in Saskatchewan.
