Service Description
Provides an extreme weather space during times of excessive heat, cold, rain, wind, or smoke at Regina Public Libraries (hours vary by location).
Offers:
- Water bottle fill stations
- Public washrooms
- Free public phones, Wi-Fi, and computers with internet
- Entertainment and education services/programs
- Feminine Hygiene products in bathrooms (Central Library, Regent Place, and Glen Elm branches only)
- Smudging
- Naloxone kits
- Outreach workers assist with housing, food insecurity and filling forms (Central Branch, Monday – Saturday 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm)
