Service Description

Provides information, referrals, and supports to help families with children with a hearing loss or cochlear implants, or deaf/hard of hearing parents. Includes:

  • Home visitation services
  • Current information on infant/child development
  • Consultations with direct services for families and service providers
  • Family education including workshops and activities
  • Play groups, support group meetings, referrals to local community support sources
  • Lending library and website for information
  • and more.

Eligibility

Families residing in Saskatchewan, including:
- Infants and children up to the age of 6 years old
- Children with a hearing loss and their families
- Hearing children with Deaf/Hard of Hearing parents
- Children with cochlear implants.
