Service Description

Offers financial support:

  • for individuals living with a permanent ostomy or other bowel or bladder diversionary surgery a $1,000 award to pursue post-secondary education
  • for registered nurses a $1,500 award to become ET/NSWOC nurses with a focus on ostomy care

Eligibility

Applicants must be:
- a Canadian citizen
- a member of Ostomy Canada Society
- living with a permanent ostomy or other bladder or bowel diversionary surgery
- a registered nurse looking to pursue a career as a NSWOC with a focus on ostomy care.
