Service Description
An apartment complex providing housing to support youth, 18+, with their transition to independence after they age out of care from the Ministry of Social Services. All program placements are referred through the Ministry of Social Services. Youth receive day to day support from caseworkers who guide and walk alongside them in their transition to independence outside of care. Includes:
- Supporting the youth as they navigate the education system,
- Developing employment skills,
- Assistance in securing meaningful employment,
- Evolving their life skills such as decision making, budgeting, cooking, relationships, and personal development.
Eligibility
Male and female youth, 16 - 18 years of age, who are in the care of the Ministry of Social Services. All program placements are referred through the Ministry of Social Services.
