Service Description
Helps individuals and communities affected by emergencies and disasters, including:
- Emergency lodging, food, and clothing
- Reception and information
- Personal services, including first aid, temporary care for unattended children and dependent elderly, and more
- Family reunification, which helps people re-establish contact with immediate family members after separation due to natural disasters and other humanitarian crises.
Wildfire information:
If you have evacuated from your community, you need to register yourself and your family with either the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) or the Canadian Red Cross (CRC), depending which organization is supporting your community.
Visit the SPSA website to determine which organization is supporting your community.
If the Canadian Red Cross (CRC) is supporting your community, register either by calling 1-800-863-6582 between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm or register in person:
- If you are in Prince Albert: members of Lac La Ronge Band can register at the PAGC Cultural Centre located at 1511 9th Avenue West between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm Central Time; members of Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation can register at the Exhibition Grounds located at 815 Exhibition Drive between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm Central Time.
- If you are in Regina, you can register in-person by visiting the Avana Centre, located at 1700 Elphinstone Street between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm Central Time.
- If you are in Saskatoon, you can register in-person by visiting the Cosmo Civic Centre, located at 3130 Laurier Drive between 8:00 am and 11:00 pm Central Time.

If the SPCA is supporting your community, register using the Sask Evac Web Application to receive evacuation support.
The SPSA has launched a dedicated, toll-free phone line (1-855-559-5502, available daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm) to assist the public with general questions about the wildfire situation in the province.
If you have not received information about evacuation procedures from your community or how to receive emergency support such as food and shelter, or are having trouble accessing supports, call the SPSA at 1-855-559-5502, and the SPSA will assess needs as soon as possible.
