Service Description
Labour Community Advocate Training is a Canadian Labour Congress program delivered by United Way labour staff. It provides information to union members on:
- How to connect their union and its members with community resources and organizations
- How to share their knowledge with other union members who are looking for appropriate resources
- Listening, communication and referral skills
- A variety of social issues affecting the community
