Service Description

Provides support to women and girls involved in the justice system as they transition back into their community.​  Support services include:

  • attend probation meetings
  • search for transitional and long-term housing; viewing apartments
  • transportation to food bank, appointments, prescriptions, to and around Saskatoon
  • social assistance advocacy
  • child and family reunification support
  • obtain educational transcripts
  • assist with furniture and household items
  • assistance with getting ID (birth certificates, health cards, treaty cards)
  • referrals to in-patient treatment beds 
  • court appearance reminders and transportation
  • provides clothing and hygiene products 
  • accompaniment to emergency mental health services
  • communication with family members
  • provides brief, solution-focused interventions and planning
  • financial literacy support & advice
  • HIV support
  • domestic violence interventions and safety planning
  • facilitating payment of bail monies
  • connections with Indigenous organizations and communities.

Eligibility

Provincially and federally sentenced women.
