Service Description
Provides 24-hour crisis support to victims of crime and tragic events including ongoing support through the justice system and referrals to other community agencies. Services include:
- Listening
- Police case information for victims
- Court information and accompaniment
- Coordination/provision of information regarding Victim Compensation, Restitution and the Criminal Justice System
- Crime Prevention advice
- Referral to community resources and other police agencies
- Home/office visits for support (when resources are available).
Eligibility
Persons who have suffered physical, mental, or emotional injury. Persons who have suffered an economic loss due to criminal action.
