Service Description
Aims to help individuals and families struggling with mental illness. A police officer is paired with a registered social worker to attend and diffuse crisis situations.
- Connects individuals to appropriate mental health services
- Offers information on how to obtain a Mental Health Warrant
- Offers information on how to obtain a Youth Detoxification Warrant
- Helps prevent repeat calls by providing immediate support
- Provides short-term follow-up to individuals experiencing crisis.
