Service Description
A voluntary mentor home for male youth ages 16 – 21, in care of the Ministry of Social Services. Assists youth who are choosing a healthy lifestyle to become independent in the next stage of young adulthood. Offers support in life skills development, independent living skills, employment supports and post-secondary education preparation. Youth agree to be involved in all programming/daily living associated with the house. Residence location is private – details provided upon application/intake.
Eligibility
Male youth 16 - 21 years of age that are in care of the Minister of Social Services and must be attending school or working.
Application Process
Referrals from Ministry of Social Services needed.
