Service Description
Works with young parents through group work, home visits, referrals and advocacy. Programming may include:
- Healthy Relationships – Participants explore their relationships and key aspects of a healthy relationship.
- Nobody’s Perfect Parenting Program – A parenting group designed to address issues and concerns of parents. Topics can include health, stress, nutrition and discipline.
- Connecting the Dots
- Family Fun Days – An opportunity for families to get together and do a variety of activities in the community. Activities include, but are not limited too, a day at the beach, barbeques, swimming, games in the park, etc.
- Anger Management
- Parent Support
- Positive Discipline
- Self Esteem
Eligibility
Parents 29 years of age or younger.
