Service Description

Provides grief and bereavement support to clients’ families. Volunteers support families for one year after the death, offering the next of kin a safe environment to grieve. Family can opt-out at any time. This is friendly support, not professional counselling.

Eligibility

Anyone who is deemed palliative and is no longer receiving curative treatment for an illness within Saskatoon.
